We, as humans, need to nourish all aspects of ourselves; mind, body and soul to maintain balance and happy healthy lives. Everything we eat and everything we "do" is food.
How are we fed by what we do?
By maintaining healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity and a spiritual practice - all are essential forms of nourishment. When these "primary foods" are balanced, what you eat, while still important, becomes secondary.
Nutritionally sound healthy food is the essential foundation on which we build our lives and those of our families. It helps us to think clearly, it becomes our blood, tissue, cells, organs, even our thoughts - there is a direct correlation between what we eat and how we behave. Let me show you how you can feed yourselves and your loved ones through healthy recipes, counseling and other educational offerings, cooking demonstrations/classes, in-home cooking and other informational sources.
Foods, both primary and secondary, are a learned process. It's about education, not discipline, will power or anything else. It's about learning what "ingredients" feed your life to keep you at your happiest. When this is achieved we have returned home to ourselves.
